Everyone knows that a typical human being has just two hands and legs, as well as ten fingers and ten toes. What if a second one appears?… An old photograph from 1900 has unexpectedly surfaced online. It shows 15 ladies standing in their work uniforms at a linen factory in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The picture seems unimpressive at first glance; it’s just a grainy old black and white snapshot of a group of women in their baggy, unshapely uniforms striking a regimental posture with their arms crossed.
Some seemed happy, some stern, and the remainder were indistinguishable. There is nothing to be gleaned from the sea of faces. If you look attentively, you will see that something is amiss with this picture. Can you locate it?

Her fingers also seem to bend in on her shoulder, almost in a personal gesture to the unaware girl in the third row, far right. The girl behind her has her arms crossed, and the apparition of an additional hand has everyone’s hair standing on end.
