An incredible 75-year love story straight out of a fairy tale!

They were born on the same day, lived together for 75 years, and died on the same day…

It looks like something from a fairy tale…

We’d like to share a touching 75-year love story with you today.

Les and Helen were born on the same day in 1918, just before New Year’s Eve.

In adolescence, young people met for the first time at school, began to communicate, and soon this dialogue transformed into feelings.

By the age of 18, they had become an inseparable couple.

But things were not so simple: the guy’s parents were opposed to the union, did not take the children’s feelings seriously, and refused to even discuss the wedding.

Les Brown’s background was the reason for this: he came from a wealthy noble family, whereas Helen’s family was poor.

This didn’t bother the man because he regarded his sweetheart as a true queen.

Young people decide to flee and marry in secret.

Years later, it was clear that their relationship had not been a mistake, and Helen and Les’ feelings grew stronger.

In 1963, the couple relocated to Long Beach, where Les worked as a photographer and Helen worked in real estate.

The couple had a son, Daniel, who as an adult stated that his parents had never spent a day apart, and his mother always stated that she was afraid to even consider what would happen if her husband died unexpectedly.

She didn’t want to live her life without him.

They were married for 75 years and lived to be 94.

Helen had stomach cancer at the time, and Les had Parkinson’s disease.

On June 16, the woman died, and her husband died the next day.

Many media outlets have covered this heartwarming story; Les and Helen’s romance is a direct confirmation that true and eternal love exists.

Even in the late photographs, the lovers’ eyes glowed with tenderness and happiness from their time together…
