“The Most Beautiful Girl in the World” Has Grown Up

Thylane Blondeau was four years old when she walked the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier in 2005.

Her popularity surpassed that of some of the world’s biggest supermodels in less than two years, as she appeared in several magazines and fashion campaigns.

But it wasn’t until a few years later that her face became instantly recognizable around the world.

At just seven years old, the young model was named “the most beautiful girl in the world,” as she graced the cover of Vogue Enfants.

Thylane is still a force to be reckoned with in the modeling world, and her beauty is still mesmerizing even after puberty.

The French model recently participated in the viral 10-year challenge, which sent the internet into a frenzy.

Thylane, like everyone else who participated in the throwback photo challenge, posted a side-by-side photo of herself at the age of six and one as a 17-year-old in 2019, and it has nearly 500,000 likes.

While she’s clearly older, her stunning blue eyes and signature pout are still the same.

“So basically, you were gorgeous before and nothing has changed ten years later,” one fan wrote.

“You win this contest,” said another, while others said she’s “still the most beautiful girl.”

Despite her modeling career, Thylane, the daughter of actress Véronika Loubry and soccer player Patrick Blondeau, is said to be quite shy.

She opened up about her feelings about being labeled the most beautiful girl in a 2018 interview with L’Officiel.

“First and foremost, I do not consider myself to be the most beautiful girl in the world!” she confessed to a French magazine. “People used to tell me that when I was a kid. But I had no idea what they were saying. Who says that, after all? Who says I’m the most attractive? I’m powerless to do anything about it. I have no control over how I appear. This is my personality.”

When it comes to work, however, she suppresses her shy side, allowing her confidence to shine through. She isn’t even 18 years old, but her portfolio rivals that of many of today’s top models.

The stunning adolescent has walked the runway for major fashion houses such as Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, and Dolce & Gabbana. In 2017, she became a brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris.

Thylane also dabbled in acting, landing her first role in 2015’s Belle & Sebastian: The Adventure Continues.

Heaven May, the teen model’s clothing line, debuted in 2018.

While we can all argue that beauty is subjective, and it’s unfair to call one person the “most beautiful,” we can all probably agree that Thylane comes very close.
