If you enjoyed watching the Emmy Award-winning show Golden Girls, you’ll surely enjoy this TV Land compilation! The nearly 16-minute video shows some of the peak moments for the loveable widow Rose Nylund, as portrayed by legendary actress Betty White.

The first scene depicts Rose being nominated for “St. Olfa Woman of the Year.” She is understandably static and honored, but her pals appear uninterested. In reality, her buddy Blanche merely stated, “that’s lovely. Did the new TV guide come yet?”.

A group of men from the St. Olaf Woman of the Year blue ribbon panel arrives at the door a few minutes later and introduces themselves. Len, Sven, and Ben (also known as the “Toppelkopper Triplets”) are their names.

They mention Rose being nominated. She might even win if they can verify the specifics of the submitted biography! The Toppelkopper Triplets allege a variety of actions by Rose, but Rose appears perplexed.

Her friends swiftly step in to defend her, telling the men that she is simply too modest to speak about her good actions. It is eventually found, however, that they exaggerated her accomplishments while submitting her biography.

Rose is taken surprised when she learns out. She takes fast action, informing the committee that her acquaintance faked her biography. We believe she simply missed out on the award, but things change!

Rose wins the award for her “worth and honesty,” and it helps that the other nominee was disqualified! This fortunate turn of events may be well-known to Golden Girls fans, but it’s not the only noteworthy sequence in the video.
