Since he was ten years old, a teen boy has assisted his mother in selling breakfast in order to alleviate the family’s financial burden.

The nicest gift we can give our parents is filial piety. When you become a parent, you will experience the same feelings they did when you were diligent and loyal children. Children who are well-raised by their parents are more likely to come from a harmonious household, which is what filial piety entails.

Six years ago, a ten-year-old child was seen selling food to help his mother, who supports the family solely on her own. He made the decision to assist her with their modest family business. Recently, the boy was spotted by FS Channel, a popular YouTuber who assists people with tiny companies. They recently discovered that the small child is now 16 years old.

Ilham is the name of the teenage boy who has been selling grilled glutinous rice and nasi lemak at the bottom of the steps at the Rapid KL Light Rail Transit (LRT) Setiawangsa station for 6 years. «Almost 6 years in company to support his mother because he felt sorry to watch his mother suffering to do business to pay rent and utilities,» Ilham told FS Channel.

Brother Ilham, as he is known, stated that his mother cooks the grilled glutinous rice and meticulously maintains the texture and taste of the rice cake so that they can continue to sell them at a reasonable price. «Grilled glutinous rice is inexpensive US $.25 (approximately RM1.00), and the texture is dense and delicious. «Mother cooks the roasted glutinous rice stuffing for 4 to 6 hours,» Brother Ilham explained.

Brother Ilham has expressed gratitude for the public’s support throughout the last six years of his little business. He makes enough money selling at the LRT station every day.

«Brother Ilham congratulated his school’s instructors, who frequently help relieve his family’s burden by purchasing big quantities of grilled glutinous rice and nasi lemak,» FS Channel reported. Brother Ilham got lucky that day when the YouTube Channel employees bought everything he was selling and gave US $155.00 (about RM 700) to his family, thanks to the channel’s viewers and followers.

«I’ve never held this much money,» Brother Ilham said, wiping his tears away with the back of his palm. Anyone who visits the Setiawangsa LRT station is welcome to help Brother Ilham by purchasing some of the food he is selling, whether it be grilled glutinous rice or nasi lemak, which begins at 4:30 PM and continues until it is sold out. On weekends, the company is closed.

BuzzKini reports that they have located Sibling Ilham’s older brother, who is now 20 years old. Firdaus Muhd Fazil is his name. He claims that he had to drop out of secondary school during Fifth Form and was unable to take his Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) exams because he needed to assist his mother in caring for his three younger siblings. Firdaus also assists his mother while cooking for the day’s sales. He explained that his younger siblings continue to attend school and only assist with selling their stuff when they return home.

Firdaus confessed that his mother was not born in Malaysia. She moved from Medan, Indonesia, and the family of five now rents a single-room house in Keramat for US $89.00 (approximately RM400) each month. To meet all of their demands, the family’s monthly income from their business is only about US $330.50 (about RM1,500).
