MACAULAY CULKIN made headlines recently when he proposed to baby mama Brenda Song.

The former child star rose to prominence in Home Alone and its sequels before becoming embroiled in controversy.

WHERE’S KEVIN?

Macaulay rose to prominence in 1990 as Kevin McCallister in Home Alone.

The blonde child star played a witty character who was abandoned by his family during the holidays and had to defend his home from two intruders.

His most memorable scene was when he used aftershave for the first time and was surprised by how much it sting.

At the time, he was only ten years old.

BIG STAR

Following his success in Home Alone, Macaulay was given movie roles by the dozens in 1991.

He was famous for co-starring in My Girl with Anna Chlumsky, Dan Aykroyd, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

He was only on screen for a half-hour, but he made an impression on viewers.

Macaulay had also become close friends with Michael Jackson, with whom he had worked on a music video.

After appearing in 15 films in seven years, he retired from acting in 1994 to pursue a “normal life.”

WEDDING BELLS?

Macaulay remained unnoticed until he announced his marriage to actress Rachel Miner.

The young couple were only 18 years old, and their marriage lasted only four years.

BACK AGAIN

When he appeared in Madame Melville in 2000, Macaulay came out of retirement.

Macaulay was dealing with the deaths of two of his sisters at the time: Jennifer, who died of an overdose, and Dakota, who died in a car accident.

In 2002, Macaulay began dating actress Mila Kunis after his divorce was finalized.

They were together until 2011, when they split up over something Mila allegedly did.

“I f**ked up,” she admitted on Dax Shephard’s podcast, “but everybody kind of forgave everybody for what went down.”

Around the same time, the actor admitted to having sleepovers with Michael Jackson but completely defended the singer from child sexual abuse allegations.

ARRESTED

Macaulay continued his downfall when he was arrested in 2004 due to drug possession.

After pleading guilty, he received three one-year suspended prison sentences and was ordered to pay $540 in court fees.

However, his mugshot has been seen around the world.

GIVING MUSIC A CHANCE

Macaulay began performing music in 2013, and he was a member of The Pizza Underground from 2013 to 2018.

But success eluded him, and he was booed during a headline-making 2014 show in England by concertgoers who threw beer at the band.

CELEBRITY COUPLE

The actor made another comeback in 2017 when he began dating Disney Channel actress Brenda Song.

They met on the set of the film Changeland and have been together ever since.

In August 2021, the couple welcomed their first child, a boy named Dakota Song Culkin.

Macaulay made yet another comeback to the small screen when he appeared in the most recent season of American Horror Story.
