Kenny Jary, a 79-year-old veteran of the United States Navy, was in desperate need of a brand-new mobility scooter.

When his neighbor and friend Amanda Kline heard about it, she immediately went to social media for support, but she was completely unprepared for the incredible response that caused Kenny to cry.

Amanda Kline and Kenny Jary are both Minnesota natives who met as neighbors before becoming friends.

Kenny and Amanda became friends after they both taught each other some American Sign Language. Jerry, Kenny’s deaf friend, works with the deaf, and Amanda works with the deaf (ASL).

What’s more, Amanda gave Kenny a TikTok account so he could demonstrate his ASL skills while also enlightening others with his charming personality.

He is virtually confined to his home if he does not have access to his scooter, which he has decorated with American flag decorations, due to his inability to walk for an excessively long or far distance.

Kenny Jary’s mobility scooter started giving him problems at some point, and things got worse when he realized the car was beyond repair.

Kenny could only communicate with the outside world in this manner. His eyes welled up as he reflected on how it had helped him meet new people, including Jerry and Amanda.

Amanda’s emotions were also affected by the revelation. As a result, she decided to share Kenny’s story on TikTok.

She was hoping that as a result of the video and fundraising, Kenny would be able to get a discount on a new mobility scooter.

But she was completely unprepared for the outpouring of support they received; the page had made $5,000 in just one day!

Kenny Jary was moved to tears by the generosity of a large number of unidentified individuals, but the generosity of others had only just begun.

Amanda and Kenny soon had more than enough money to purchase a brand-new mobility scooter as donations continued to pour in.

In reality, Amanda presented Kenny with two brand-new scooters, one portable and light and the other more sturdy and durable. ‘My guardian angels kept an eye on me.’

They did, a sobbing Kenny stated. But, as Jary somberly stated, Kenny’s angels were not yet finished!

The amount of money collected through donations grew over time and eventually exceeded $100,000. In a recent post,

Amanda stated that she planned to spend some of the extra funds to improve Kenny’s life in a few additional ways.

Paying off Kenny’s debt, covering his medical expenses, and outfitting his home with furniture that is simpler for him to access are a few of these modifications.

Kenny was once more overwhelmed by the kindness extended to him.

He also decided that he wanted to share the generosity with a group of people who held a special place in his heart: veterans.

Because of Kenny’s thoughtful decision, each of the ten veterans who participated in the GoFundMe campaign received a brand-new mobility scooter. But God took Kenny’s aim and multiplied it tenfold!

Kenny was able to increase the number of veterans who benefit from his donation from ten to twenty-five by utilizing the generosity shown to him.
