The stars of ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ a 1968 film, are suing Paramount Pictures over a nudity scene.

When the film was made, Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey were teenagers.

It should be noted that Hasi defended the ‘naked’ scene in an interview with Variety in 2018.

During the court case, the English actors, who are already 70 years old, claim that the film’s director is responsible for their aging.

Despite earlier assurances that they would not be required, Franco Zeffirelli insisted on the inclusion of nudity scenes.

The company has yet to respond publicly to the lawsuit. The actors are seeking more than $500 million in restitution.

According to the actors, Dzeffirelli, who died in 2019, originally stated that the actors would wear flesh-colored underwear in the bedroom scene.

However, prior to filming, the director informed them that they would only be making up the body and that the camera would be positioned so that nudity would not be visible.

The actors sued Paramount for sexual harassment and fraud.They also accuse the Hollywood studio of sexually exploiting young actors and distributing nude pictures of teenage children.
