For much of his adult life, Sylvester Stallone was labeled as having autism. Initially, it was thought that the ailment was caused by the performer himself.

After some time had passed, the doctors changed their minds and determined that Sylvester’s speech problems were caused by birth trauma.

However, when the actor was already involved in a different setting a few years later, this prognosis came back to haunt him.

When Stallone and his wife became parents for the second time, they were overjoyed to welcome their second child into the world.

The teenagers were not shy about displaying the baby boy to the public, and they named him Sergio because they thought it was a lovely name.

At one point, the child actor appeared in the film alongside his own father. In the play, he portrayed Rocky’s son. After that, he was never seen on screen again.

When the child was three years old, he made his final public appearance and “lit up” in front of an audience.

Sergio appeared on the cover of a magazine alongside Sylvester Stallone. However, the boy’s parents became aware of an unusual behavior from their son over time.

Sergio was uninterested in his surroundings, refused to communicate with his older brother, and refused to play with him. The young boy’s favorite activities were drawing and listening to music.

It was impossible to detect any communication skills in him. Finally, the parents decided to take the infant to the pediatrician.

This is how they came to the conclusion that Sergio had autism. At first, Sylvester Stallone hoped that the diagnosis would be incorrect. But it didn’t work…

Sergio’s mother was then in charge of guiding his growth and development. Stallone, on the other hand, began working long hours at the office in order to adequately support his family.

Following an extensive investigation, it was determined that the boy’s brain is unharmed and has the potential to be educated.

Sergio had the opportunity to develop normally as a child, just like the other children.

As a result of the work done with specialists, the infant began to speak in short words and even occasionally responded to what was going on around them.

Watching the “Rocky” movies provided him with a lot of motivation.

The struggle was too much for Stallone’s family to bear, and the two eventually split up.

Sylvester helps his ex-wife financially and does everything he can to care for his youngest son.

He even built an imitation stream in the garden for Sergio so he could listen to the soothing sounds it made.

During a recent interview, the actor stated that he and Sergio have a more amicable relationship.

Stallone is having difficulty adjusting his son, Sergio, to his new environment, and in order to do so, he must put himself in Sergio’s shoes.

Stallone is reminded of a broken radio by his son. Either he is open to conversation or he is completely disconnected from the outside world.

Sylvester is disappointed because he had hoped to have a genuine paternal relationship with his children and grandchildren.

An unexpected death occurred in Stallone’s oldest son’s family. Following the unfortunate event, Sylvester started paying Sergio more frequent visits.

The young man has now reached the age of forty. He is characterized by having restricted communication skills and continues to live with his mother.

Sergio has not been successful in developing relationships with the people in his environment or starting a family.
