Winston Howe’s entire existence centered around his love for Janet.
In reality, it was love at first sight for the two soul mates, and that love only grew stronger as the days passed.

The couple married in 1962, and their love for each other was unbreakable. Their love for one another was so great that many in their town would wonder how they had managed to keep their marriage so happy for so long.

Winston and Janet opted to settle in a picturesque farmhouse in the English countryside after marrying in 1962.

Janet gave birth to their son a short time after, and the couple grew to experience a love that most people can only dream of having over the years.

Their child was healthy, and their farm was thriving during this period of peace and wealth in their life. Winston and Janet lived out their ambitions in the house they had always desired in Wickwar, Gloucestershire, for three decades.

Things, though, would take a different turn.
Janet was just 50 years old when she died abruptly in 1995 from heart troubles she had been fighting for some time.

Winston was sad and felt as if his entire life had crumbled around him. He couldn’t be with the love of his life any longer.

Winston chose to remember his beloved wife by planting 6,000 oak trees in a field near the house they had shared for so many years as a living tribute for her.

Winston desired to create a quiet, sacred location where he and his kid could retreat when things became difficult. Winston got to work planting trees as a result, and he planted a lot of them.

But what distinguishes Winston’s tribute is that he hid a heart-shaped meadow within the trees.

For seventeen years, his astonishing confession of love was kept hidden from the world. Winston had accomplished his goal, but the true reason he had worked so hard to obtain it remained a secret, and it was lurking in plain sight amid the trees.

Andy Collett was in his hot air balloon in 2012 when he discovered Winston’s secret. He spotted the heart that had fallen from the sky when he looked down.

Winston’s magnificent tribute was his own private garden for years until Andy occurred to cruise over the area, according to General Knowledge & Interesting Facts.

“You can readily visualize the couple’s love story,” Andy told the Daily Mail of his experience. “I own a balloon and fly on a daily basis, but this was by far the most incredible sight I have ever seen from the skies.”

The tip of Winston Howes’ heart points in the direction of Janet’s childhood home, the village of Wotton Hill.

Winston also put a fence around it, and every spring, daffodils bloom in the center. “I planted several thousand oak trees because I felt it was a beautiful idea and I got a spark of inspiration. “Once everything was ready,” Winston said, “we installed a seat in the field, overlooking the hill near to where she used to reside.”

Winston stated that he visits the heart-shaped meadow on occasion to remember the beautiful days he had with Janet.

“It’s a lovely and enduring monument to her that will be here for years,” Winston added.

Even though there is nothing that can bring Janet back to life, Winston believes she would be thrilled with the heart-shaped meadow that was expressly designed for her.

It is a horror to lose a loved one, especially a spouse with whom you have spent your entire life and shared everything. This narrative, on the other hand, indicates that tragedy can have a positive outcome.
