The gift of sight appears almost impossible for a man who has never met a woman or a son in his life. Jean, on the other hand, was taken aback when she was offered to do just that.

Gene has a condition known as Stargardt, which causes him to lose nearly all of his sight at a young age. His vision is very dim in the center. He can only see certain images from time to time.

When he first met his wife, Joe, he had never seen her face before and had no idea what she looked like. Like a puzzle, he simply gathered the small pictures that he could draw in some way. His son’s face was also a mystery to him.

Joe was inspired to contact the show after seeing a woman in the same situation as her husband on the “Rachel Ray” show. She wished for her husband to be able to see both her and her son.

That show had invited him. Ginny was wearing a special pair of electronic glasses that allowed her to see her loved ones’ faces for the first time in her life.

The raw feeling of the whole family is so beautiful and inexplicable. He was simply amazed to see how beautiful his wife was. She could not hold back her tears with joy, knowing that Jean could finally see them.

Gene has just received an incredible gift that he will cherish and remember for the rest of his life. He did not let his disability define him, and the photographs of his family will live on in his memory forever.
