A 96-Year-Old Guy Does Ballet With A Professional Dancer

We should not give up doing activities we enjoy simply because we are becoming older. That should simply serve as a reminder to go gently and cherish every moment spent doing so.

When a person reaches the age when they can no longer perform things as successfully as they once could, they sometimes become disheartened; nevertheless, aging can be seen positively by viewing it as an opportunity to do things more wisely.

When we are passionate about anything, such as dancing, it is difficult to resign from it even at an advanced age.

Tom is a 96-year-old man who is taking dance classes to rekindle his passion for dancing.

Tom has been dancing for about 30 years, but he quit dancing after his wife, who was also his favorite dance partner, died.

His Son Encouraged Him

His grief almost took him away from his passion. Fortunately, his son enrolled him in dance classes with Liya who helped him get back on his dancing feet.

Liya Kazbekova is a world-champion ballroom and Latin dance instructor in Los Angeles, California.

Liya is another of Tom’s many fans when it comes to dancing. «He’s 96 years old and a dancer,» she explained. My source of motivation and inspiration. My student, Tom, deserves a standing ovation. «A dancer is a dancer forever.»

Tom surprised Liya with his amazing talent for dancing. Even the professional dancer is impressed by Tom’s footwork which hasn’t been rusted by time and age.
