Madeleine Stewart, a 22-year-old Australian model, says hello! Madeleine was the first model with Down syndrome to walk the runways all over the world.

Madeleine and her mother took part in an unintentional fashion display in their hometown of Brisbane in 2014. The youngster was overjoyed with what she saw and told her mother that she wanted to be a model.

Madeleine’s mother expressed her support for her daughter in words, but she did not believe it was possible.

Madeleine, on the other hand, proved to be a stubborn and headstrong young lady. She noticed her figure was nothing like the model’s and began to diet aggressively. In a year, she lost 20 kg. When the media mentioned a unique girl in 2015, the American corporation Manifesta offered her the first contract.

Madeleine was ideal for them because this firm creates women’s apparel to fit any figure. At the same time, Madeleine parades on the catwalks for the first time, and she has her first followers who appreciate her bravery and determination.

The girl currently performs in 18 different performances per year. She’s attended fashion weeks in Paris, New York, and London. Madeleine was rated the “number one breakthrough in 2015” and was named “Australian of the Year” in Australia.
