Shanghai native Yu Jianxia has smashed the world record for the second time in a row.

The truth is that this lady has extremely long eyelashes.

Only five years ago, her maximal lash length (which is longer on the left eyelid than the right) was 12.4 centimeters; by 2021, it had already reached 20.5 centimeters. In other words, she established two new world records.

The Jianxia story is extraordinary. She didn’t always have such long eyelashes. Previously, they were just like everyone else.

Yu Jianxia saw her eyelashes thickening after 18 months of living in the mountains. It happened in 2013. She spent more than a year in the forest, meditating and escaping the city noise.

“It suddenly occurred to me that my eyelashes were starting to grow.”
They gradually lengthen. I went to several doctors to find out what was causing this strange incident. Doctors are silent on the subject.
They simply raised their hands. I looked for a scientific answer, such as the likelihood that it is in the DNA. However, no one in my family has such long eyelashes.

Jianxia considers her eyelashes to be a wonderful miracle. She also stated that her eyelashes do not interfere with her daily life and that she does not need to spend a half-hour applying mascara in front of a mirror. When done correctly, her eyelashes become an intrinsic part of the image.

“I have no problems or concerns about my eyelashes.” What a thrill to learn how unique I am! Washing my face and applying moisturizer is effortless for me because I have natural eyelashes. My eyelashes, like everyone else’s, fall out and regenerate. I don’t see any problems. The only thing I want for individuals who are exceptionally beautiful is for them to cherish and adore one another.
