Grandma suffered with weight gain, but look at her today!

Joan McDonald, an Ontario resident, is 73 years old. The woman revealed that she had struggled with fat her entire life.

I’ve been overweight for a long time. The woman had a rough marriage when she was younger, so she began to seize issues to release her stress.

As a result, the woman’s weight grew to around 90 kg. This was clearly too much for Joan, who was only 5 feet tall.

The old woman began to have serious health problems. She had knee replacement surgery as well, which rendered her unable to climb stairs on her own.

I took medication for my high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and acid reflux. I couldn’t do sports since my knee hurt and I couldn’t climb stairs.

All of this had to worry Joan’s 48-year-old daughter, Michelle. She decided to help her mother in 2017 after realizing that something had to be done.

She invited me to join her annual training program. To be honest, she only suggested that I work out with her.

Michelle was running her applications over the Internet, which was a source of concern. And her 73-year-old mother has no idea how to use a smartphone. Joan began to suffer after getting an iPhone for herself.

I was in tears at times and wanted to give up, but fortunately, I’m pretty tenacious. My daughter and son-in-law have frequently demonstrated how to use the phone. How many people would it take for me to realize the iPhone was a joke?

But it all paid off: Joan eventually learned how to use the Internet and programs and began training. The old woman went to the gym four days a week and did cardio on each of the training days, which were rotated every four weeks.

And, while the senior initially completed novice workouts, she now expends nearly the same amount of energy that she did at the outset of her voyage.

Furthermore, the woman began eating healthily as a result of smartphone applications. She used to nibble on sweets and nuts frequently and end every meal with dessert. Michelle, on the other hand, created a diet for her mother that highlighted proteins and healthy fats. Joan didn’t need to fast because her meal was now going to her muscles.

I needed to eat more as I lost weight. The results were immediately visible to the naked eye.

Michelle created an Instagram account for her mum. There, the senior citizen shares detail about her fitness transformation and receives several comments, even those from young people who like her shape.

Joan, who has over 80,000 followers, inspires others to lose weight by posting workouts and recipes, as well as documenting her personal weight loss journey.

Now that her health has restored, Joan is just over 60 kg in weight and is off all medications.
