A natural animal takes a long time to trust a human, but when this little gorilla realized the people who rescued him were nothing but kind and gentle, he bonded with them in the cutest way conceivable. The scene was captured on film, and it is nothing short of amazing!

Despite his youth, Bobga has been through a lot in his short life. When his family was slaughtered by poachers when he was just a few weeks old, his chances of survival were slim. The fearful and perplexed gorilla was placed in a small cage, most likely to be sold on the black market as a pet. He was rescued just in time and transported to the Limbe Wildlife Centre in Cameroon, a wildlife refuge.

Bobga had never trusted anyone before, and it’s easy to see why, yet it was a person who gave him all the comfort he needed. He learnt that humans can be sympathetic when he met Alvin Muma, a volunteer at Limbe Center.

Despite the reality that nothing can ever replace a family’s love, Bobga’s caregiver made every effort to make the animal as comfortable as possible, and the beautiful creature returned the favor. As a result, Alvin and Bobga became inseparable very quickly. The young gorilla was relieved to have found a home.

The woman even documented the love between these two on tape in a series of beautiful photographs. Bobga can be seen dozing in the arms of his pal or cuddling close to him. It’s instances like this that show how committed these people are to assisting animals in need.

“We give these helpless animals a second opportunity,” Craddock added. “Providing alternative employment to ex-hunting populations and educating the local community about environmental conservation.” Bobga and one of his loyal caregivers are sharing a tender moment of rest.”

Bobga will heal and rehabilitate, despite the fact that it will take a long time and a lot of effort, due to these dedicated folks!
