Looking through old images in family albums brings up memories, especially during reunions when family members reminisce. Photographs serve as a window into our life and what transpired. With the advent of the internet, families are restoring historical images in digital form and replicating the same poses they did in the past in digital comparison collages. It’s been the best method to remember the good old days!

Alice Moore, a mother, baker, artist, and stay-at-home mother, and her elder brother decided to take a series of modern-day images revisiting the same posture they did in their childhood photos two years earlier, at the height of the pandemic. It was the nicest birthday present they could give their mother, who was turning 70 at the time.

A baby that the brother used to carry in his arms has grown into a full-grown woman. 😆

The floating baby head photo has become more modern. A perfect photo to be framed and situated in the living room.

The red carpet has never been replaced and is still in their living room. However, the playpen is more modern.

The rocking toucan and horse have been downsized! The brother has restored the same set of clothing from his younger days.

Big brother gave the baby a real giant biscuit while she sat in her stroller. However, in the modern photo, the giant biscuit was replaced with a cardboard cutout.

When they were younger, the shot was taken at Sears for more formal backgrounds for their photos. They did it every year. However, the family no longer resides in the same location.

Baby sister used to sit on her brother’s lap when they would ride the swing. Now, Alice admits that it felt weird sitting on her brother’s lap for the photo on the swing now that they are both over 40 years old. 😆

Time may pass quickly, but nothing ever changes in a close-knit family. Then-and-now photo collages are popular on the internet, and the majority of them are posted on social media. People are having a fantastic time duplicating these photographs, and they hope to make everyone smile. Have you taken any recreation photos yet?
