Gemma Copeland, 30, was visiting Schoenbrunn Zoo with her 15-week-old son Jasper and partner Shane, 31, while on vacation in Vienna, Austria. Gemma is an avid traveler, and she didn’t want her adventures to come to an end just because she had a child.
She also wanted her son to travel the world from a young age. While they were in the orangutan enclosure, she noticed Jasper was hungry and sat against the glass to feed him.

The incredible footage recorded a female orangutan eyeing her carefully, kissing her, and placing her hand on the glass. She claims in her writing
“I love animals and travel, and when I booked a cheap flight to Vienna, I discovered that they have the world’s oldest zoo.”During our visit, I discovered we had almost missed seeing the orangutans, so we turned around and returned.

“We couldn’t see them in their enclosure, so we just said ‘let’s go home,’ but I noticed they had returned when we turned away, so we went to look.”
“I went to the window for a closer look and sat down by the window so my son could see the orangutan who was roughly five or six feet away – I didn’t want to frighten her so I made myself smaller so I could take a picture.”

After Gemma shared the heart-warming moment on Facebook for her friends and family to see, it went viral – racking up millions of views, likes and shares.
