Sometimes a moment in time is just that—a moment. But we’ve all had those wonderful moments when we wish we could travel back in time and experience them.
Jason Gayler of Alvord, Texas, was going through old photo albums when he came across one of himself taking his 5-year-old daughter Brittany along a road to her first day of kindergarten.
It was a critical juncture in his life.
His little child, on the other hand, has grown up and will soon be finished with school. So Jason invited Brittany to accompany him to her last day of school and relive that beautiful event from 13 years ago.
Brittany supported the idea. So, in May of last year, Jason, who is now 38 years old, took his 18-year-old daughter to her last day of high school. And, once again, that memorable moment was captured on video.
Those photographs of Jason and Brittany were tweeted… and rapidly went viral.
“It would make me very happy,” Jason, who had to fight back tears on the last day of school, said, “if we could help people remember that time, even if it was just for a moment, and make them smile.” “I hope to look at this and smile when I’m old.”
