Swimwear advertisements frequently incorporate sensual images, but as these amazing photos show, that doesn’t have to be the case.

And, as Yazemina Rossi demonstrates, youthful models are not the only ones who may appear in such campaigns.

It’s difficult to imagine, but Yazemina, a model, artist, and photographer, is 61 years old!

The image below is part of a bikini advertising campaign for The Dreslyn online store and Land of Women lingerie business. Dreslyn’s founder, Brooke Taylor Corsia, claims the collection’s purpose was to move away from the hypersexual imagery present in most swimwear lines.

Rossi was chosen as her model because:

“She exudes health and vitality.” She is self-assured, an artist, and she looks after herself. This is a line for those who have lived and seen the world, who have intelligence and confidence that shines through in all they do.

Yazemina Rossi, you won’t believe it, is 61 years old! She was born in 1955 in France and raised on the island of Corsica.

She presently works as a model, artist, and photographer in Malibu, California.

But how can she appear so young at 61?

“There is no mystery here,” she declares. “I just always ate natural food — long before it became fashionable.”

“I also massage oil into my skin on a regular basis.” Rapeseed oil is used to condition my hair. I exfoliate my skin once a week with fine sugar and olive oil. I eat one avocado every day, as well as natural meat and fish.”
