In many homes, MP3 players and cell phones have largely supplanted traditional music systems. Claire’s home, where she is three years old, is a little unusual. They have a full studio setup at home because her father is a professional music producer.

Her father once asked her what her favorite Disney song was and if she planned to perform it. The bright-eyed 3-year-old was overjoyed to put on her most beautiful princess attire and seize the microphone. She then sang “Part of Your World,” a song from the hit Disney film “The Little Mermaid.” You can see her fantastic rendition of the song in the video below.

Kids may be smarter than we believe, but Claire’s mastery of both the lyrics and the music astounds us. It’s lovely to see her take professional microphones and headsets so seriously!

We’re not sure which part of this video is the most endearing. Claire is adorable, and her singing is even more so. We really appreciated seeing how she interacted with her father. He not only asks her to sing at the start of everything, but he also includes her in the entire song development process.

He’s even keeping an eye on her as he works on the studio computer with the music. In the video, we see Claire and her father playing and having a nice time outside of the studio. With such a loving mom, she’s off to a great start in life.
