Behind-the-scenes footage of Freddie Mercury’s final moments before his death

Since its release, the music video for Queen’s These Are the Days of Our Lives has been making waves online. This is most likely the most recent Freddie Mercury footage.

The track was released just two months before the singer’s death, shocking Queen fans all over the world.

According to Smooth Radio, Freddie Mercury had only a few months to live following the debut of the video.

The performer was dying as a result of health difficulties related to an AIDS diagnosis. The pained situation of the idol is clearly visible in the video for These Are the Days of Our Lives.

I had to even make the music video in black and white. It was a completely practical action at the time, not an artistic choice.

Mercury was suffering from the consequences of his sickness and appeared so haggard and unwell that the directors attempted to soften this truth using black-and-white pictures.

The record was released alongside Bohemian Rhapsody and appeared on the charts shortly after Freddie Mercury’s untimely death.

The video was shot roughly six months before Mercury’s death, and it painted a bleak image of their idol’s condition.

The previous video interwoven with Mercury’s most recent appearance on film is maybe even more painful.

The music video for These Are the Days of Our Lives includes footage from Queen’s final live performance, in which Freddie Mercury sang live for the final time.

Queen fans will be in tears as they watch Mercury’s last two performances, both of which are featured in the music video and the making-of video.

The behind-the-scenes video that reveals the filming process of the music video is tragic in itself: it is impossible to calmly look at how the legendary vocalist was depleted by a deadly disease.
