Former WWE Champion and well-known Hollywood character Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is most known for his roles in the blockbuster blockbusters “The Scorpion King,” “Skyscraper,” and the most recent DC Universe picture, “Black Adam.” He also announced his retirement from professional wrestling. Because of his success in the entertainment industry, he has fans all around the world.
When he recently posted a video of himself entering a 7-11 in his native state of Hawaii on his Instagram account, he caused a heated debate. He used to go to the same store before heading to the gym to work out when he was 14 years old and take a large-sized Snickers bar because he didn’t have any money at the time. He was left with a memory of the recall that he will never forget.
He says in an Instagram video that he has been waiting decades to do what he is about to do.
Dwayne would go to a neighboring 7-11 store and get an extra-large sized Snickers chocolate bar as his pre-workout supplement for the day when he went out to work out as part of his regular routine. His family had previously had financial difficulties. Because she was aware of young Dwayne’s financial situation at the time, the cashier went aside while pretending not to notice the incident. There was’stealing’ going on for a year.
“I was dirt poor as hell,” Dwayne explained, “and the cashier just turned her head and never busted me.”
Growing up, Dwayne had always thought that particular recollection was inappropriate, especially at such a young age. He made the decision to go back to the 7-11 store where he used to steal the chocolate bars when he recently visited his homeland in Hawaii. As soon as he walked in, he went right to the shelf where they kept their Snickers candies and grabbed every single one. He set them on the counter and paid for each item individually.
The “Black Adam” actor explained to the counter employee how he stole an extra-large Snickers chocolate bar every day. “I did that every single day for over a year,” he stated. To make amends, I had to go back and buy every Snickers bar on those shelves.
He paid for the Snickers candy bars and then left them on the counter. He didn’t want to bring them with him. He told them they could take as many as they wanted, and that it was for everyone in the store at the time. “I present you with these Snickers. It makes no difference to them if someone looks to want to steal it. “Just take these,” he said to the counter employee.
While Dwayne was still seated at the counter, he paid for everyone on the store’s tab. He paid $298 in total. Before leaving, Dwayne posed for photos with customers and employees inside the 7-11. “That felt really, very nice after decades of me wanting to return home to 7-Eleven and try to make good,” he said at the end of the video. We can’t change the past or the stupid things we’ve done, but every now and then, we can make amends and potentially put a smile on someone else’s face.
