When an Ohio couple turns 100 years old next month, they will be celebrating two important anniversaries.

Hubert and June Malicote were both born in July 1922, raised in rural Kentucky and first met when they both moved to Ohio in search of work, according to reports.
The couple reported that their romance began at church. They were friends at the start, but it quickly turned into something more.

Hubert and June married on June 8, 1943, only to be called up soon after to service in World War II. He served in the Navy in Hawaii for two years, but when he returned home, June was waiting for him at the train station.
They reared their family in Hamilton, Ohio. The pair is the parents of three children, seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Hubert and June will both be celebrating their 100th birthdays soon. June turns 100 on July 13, and Hubert turns 100 on July 23.

To honor the milestone, a church service will be held on their lawn, according to reports.
Hubert said of his long-term marriage to his wife, “They’ve never had a disagreement or a fight.”
He went on to say that they had disagreements in life, but they would never harm each other. If there is a disagreement, it may be necessary to take a short break.

Every night, the couple has dinner and watches a movie together. Similarly, their evening routine includes a kiss before saying goodbye.
Their 70-year-old daughter claimed that she places Mom in her wheelchair next to where Dad is seated, and they clasp hands and kiss each other goodbye. They are happy to see each other in the morning. They greet each other with huge smiles.
True love will always be one of the most powerful forces in the world. Romance stories, such as Hubert and June’s, may make anyone’s day better.
