A 13-Year-Old Boy Trades in His Xbox and Does Yard Work to Surprise His Single Mom – His Success Exceeds Expectations!

William Preston accomplished something truly remarkable for a 13-year-old boy: he bought a car for his mother. It’s not every day that you hear about someone his age achieving such a feat.

William’s mom, Krystal Preston, has been facing financial challenges ever since their family had to start anew due to a difficult circumstance.

Ever since the single mother started taking care of her three kids in their Fernley, Nevada home, she has faced the challenge of not having any means of transportation. However, that has finally changed.

William’s heart was filled with inspiration when he stumbled upon heartwarming videos of people surprising their mothers with cars on Youtube. He seized the opportunity to turn his long-held aspiration into a reality when he stumbled upon a Facebook post advertising a highly discounted 1999 Toyota Metro being sold by a woman.

In a surprising turn of events, the teenager approached the woman with a unique suggestion. He proposed a trade: his beloved Xbox, along with some hard-earned cash from his community service, in exchange for her car.

Initially, the woman had reservations, but after some back-and-forth, she ultimately agreed to his proposal and drove the car to William’s house.

William’s mom was skeptical when he shared the news of getting a car for her. He guided her towards the driveway, where the Toyota eagerly awaited her. Her emotions overflowed, impossible to hide.

“I completely lost control of my emotions and cried uncontrollably. I couldn’t believe what had happened. Who buys their mom a car at the age of 13? It’s quite remarkable! I don’t know any, I’ve never heard of any. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and immense pride, words cannot fully capture the depth of my emotions.”
