Receiving distressing pregnancy news can be overwhelming for any couple excitedly waiting for their baby. This was true for Alex and his wife, Emily, as they anticipated their third child. When Emily suddenly felt unwell, Alex rushed her to the hospital, fearing the worst—a miscarriage.
