The Beak Is Gone! How I Got a Tiny, Fairytale Nose in Just 3 Hours

Maya Bennett, 24, from Brooklyn, had a nose that was the center of every joke—“Toucan Sam,” “the Pelican,” and even “Nose-zilla.” The long, hooked shape overshadowed her naturally pretty features.

“It became my personality. I’d joke about it before anyone else could,” Maya says. “But I hated it. Truly.”

Maya finally decided to fly to Los Angeles to meet Dr. Ayres, a rhinoplasty wizard known for taking on extreme cases.

The procedure took under three hours. The results? Surreal.

Her new nose is petite, upturned just enough to give a youthful charm, and so well done it looks like she was born with it. Friends gasped. Strangers asked if she was a model.

“Oh, and I can breathe like never before,” she laughs. “Turns out I had a deviated septum, two collapsed valves, and a blocked turbinate. Who knew?”

Maya’s post-op selfie went viral on Reddit under the caption “I ditched the beak!” and amassed over 4.8K comments of pure admiration.

“People think cosmetic surgery is vain. But mine gave me confidence, oxygen, and peace.”
