A woman marries to commemorate her 100th birthday.

You are never too old to find or rediscover love! Dana Jackson married her first husband when she was 15, and she plans to walk down the aisle again to celebrate her 100th birthday!

Dana met Bill Stauss, 87, at Bowling Green’s Rosewood Health Care Center. Both thought they’d never marry again, but after meeting, they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

«I found one that’s as nice as they come,» he told AARP. «Treats me well. It’s unusual to come across a girl like that.»

The 100-year-old bride wore a traditional white gown to the ceremony, and the groom wore a fancy tuxedo. Although Dana had previously been married, this was her first formal wedding. She stated that getting married was «no big deal» when she was younger. «You didn’t do what you do now,» she pointed out. «It was simple clothes and perhaps a bouquet cut from the yard.» And that’s exactly how it was.»

While neither of the newlyweds expected to marry again, it just goes to show that you are never too old to follow your heart!
