Valeria Lukyanova has spent thousands of dollars to appear like a real-life Barbie doll, and she is still in the process.

For decades, Barbie’s exaggerated proportions have impacted popular perceptions of physical attractiveness. As a result, some people have gone to great efforts to transform themselves into human dolls. Valeria Lukyanova is one of them.

Valeria was born on August 23, 1985, in Tiraspol, Moldova. Valeria Lukyanova is a model from Ukraine who uses her looks to talk about her spiritual and mystical beliefs.

She may appear more like a doll than a real person, but she insists she never set out to look like the famed blonde Barbie. She merely wants to seem lovely, feminine, and polished. It just so happens that dolls are also created in that image. She does, however, confess to having a soft spot for Barbie as a kid.

It is difficult to comprehend how much plastic surgery and cosmetic enhancement Valeria’s characteristic appearance requires, but she claims to have simply undergone breast augmentation. She slams the people who say that she had her ribs taken out to get her very small waist.

She once said that her objective was to become a breatharian, surviving only on air and sunshine. 

Valeria also believes in astral projection and claims to be an extraterrestrial herself. In a VICE documentary, she said that in a previous life, she was a great monarch and spiritual teacher.

Valeria Lukyanova is a very divisive figure. She has also lately come under criticism for statements she made about people of mixed ethnicity.

In a GQ interview, Valeria remarked on evolving beauty standards. “For example, a Russian may marry an Armenian,” she explains. “They had a daughter, a lovely young lady, but she has her father’s nose.” She goes ahead and files it down a bit, and everything is fine. Ethnicities are mingling today, resulting in degeneration which had not previously existed. Remember how many gorgeous ladies there were without surgery in the 1950s and 1960s? And now we have this, owing to degeneration. ”

She also claims to be anti-feminist and to be against having children. “Most individuals have children to achieve their personal goals, not to provide anything,” she said. “They aren’t thinking about what they can provide or educate this youngster. They just attempt to mold her according to some strange script — everything they couldn’t accomplish in real life. “
