When you spend a lot of time watching reality television programs, you tend to believe you’ve seen it all.
Though programs like American Idol sparked our interest in these types of challenges, the trend has spread to other shows. While The Voice is a fun option for people looking for an all-singing program, there are other shows that are even more eclectic and crazy.
Most notably, it doesn’t get much wilder than America’s Got Talent. In that program, singers compete against dancers, magicians, mimes, and anybody else who can catch the attention of the globe.
And just when you think you’ve seen everything, someone arrives to change things up.

That was certainly the case for one performance during the 2019 season of the program.
As the video starts, all of the judges are waiting for the next performance to appear. As he walks in, he introduces himself as Patrizio Ratto and says that he is an Italian pianist.

After a few remarks, he informs everyone that he will be performing classical music for them. Judge Simon Cowell rolls his eyes—clearly, he’s seen this before and isn’t really intrigued.
However, the other judges clear the way for him to play, and he takes a seat on the piano bench.

He plays a couple of notes as soon as he sits down to test the piano.
Following that, he begins playing Beethoven’s “Für Elise.” Though his touch on the piano is excellent and he sounds fantastic, it’s evident that the judges aren’t eager to hear this song played again. Regardless, he continues while the crowd yawns… until something occurs. There’s a pause in the music, and Ratto begins miming some robotic gestures.
He’s spasming all over the place and kicking the piano bench over behind him before you know it.
By this time, everyone in the room has realized that the pianist is not who he claimed to be at the start.
The tune he was playing quickly became an electronic rhythm, and he was breakdancing and contorting his body all over the stage.
