Sylvester Stallone covers up his wife’s tattoo with ink from late dog and “Rocky” castmate

Stallone has said for a long time how much he loves the dog, who was in the movies “Rocky” and “Rocky 2.”

The Rocky actor, 76, recently covered a previous tattoo of his wife, Jennifer Flavin’s, face with a homage to his late dog Butkus, who appeared in the film and its sequel.

“Mr. Stallone intended to update his wife Jennifer’s tattoo picture; but, the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable,” said Stallone’s spokesperson, Michelle Bega, after the Daily Mail published photos of the actor’s tattoo coverup.

She went on, “Mr. Stallone is devoted to his family. The Stallones are currently filming a reality show together for Paramount+. ”

In May, Stallone and Flavin celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, which they commemorated with Instagram tributes to one another.

Stallone, 75, captioned a photo carousel of the couple, “Happy 25th anniversary to my amazing wife.” There aren’t enough words to express how much this unselfish, dedicated, and patient woman has meant to our lives, and I just wish there could be another 25! Thank you very much, darling! ”

Flavin, 53, said beside her own photo collection in a post she has since deleted, “We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary! 🥰❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for always making me laugh, loving, and defending our wonderful family! ”

“Our marriage gets better every year!” she concluded. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives with you!

According to various publications, Stallone’s new tattoo is a profile image of the bullmastiff who died in 1981 from a heart attack.
Stallone has long declared his affection for dogs, and in 2017, he shared an Instagram photo of himself as a child with a puppy-dog named Butkus.

Stallone stated he and the dog were “both emaciated, hungry, and living in a flophouse above a subway stop” when the shot was taken in 1971.

He confessed in the article that he once had to sell the dog for $40 because he couldn’t afford food.

Rocky’s screenplay was sold, and I could buy and buy him back, but the new owner saw my desperation and charged me $15,000… He was well worth the money! ” Stallone penned the piece.
