It happened in 2006 when a huge storm caused floods to rise and trap 200 horses on a small patch of mud-covered ground.

The story was covered by news sources all around the world. Due to the exhibition, 19 of these horses were unable to do so. The horses cannot be salvaged after falling in the same spot for three days. They were lucky that firefighters and social workers were able to give them everything they needed to live.

Even after the water level began to fall, authorities were unable to come up with a plan to save the horses.
They were scared to enter the water, making voluntary entry nearly impossible.

Then they had an epiphany.

First, a band of knights and horses made their way across the shallows. Because of herd behavior, the stranded horses should follow quickly.

Everyone prayed that they would make it to the other side safely.
