Nobody wants to stick to strict plans.  Well, some of us do, but some of us just want to go with the flow no matter what. But man dreams and God laughs, as the saying goes. And that’s what makes it so great. Probably because all of us can find some kind of beauty in the things that life brings us. So, since we’re talking about the beauty of wonders, we should mention that this British family has had more than anyone else. Especially when the issue of beauty goes to the matter of children.

After becoming the first mother in Britain to give birth to 10 boys in a row, a mother from the Highlands believed she was destined to have only sons.

However, Alexis Brett just defied the tradition and gave birth to a baby girl, her 11th child.  The 39-year-old woman was overjoyed to see her daughter Cameron.

She said that the Dingwall family was «overjoyed» to be expecting another boy. «I had been anticipating hearing that we were having another son», she said. The moment of beauty and astonishment for her was when she discovered that she was carrying a daughter inside her womb. Even she could not believe what she was hearing. «But when I found out it was a girl, I couldn’t stop smiling.»

The baby girl’s name is Cameron, and she is the eleventh child in the family.

The Bretts couldn’t wait until the baby was born, so they drove 50 miles to a hospital. So that they can find out right away what the baby’s gender is. And when the 39-year-old mom found out it was a girl, she was so happy she could hardly stand it. And when she finally gave birth, she named the baby Cameron. She said she was a new bundle of happiness.

The mother of 11 children reports that since Cameron was born, she has the feeling that the family is finally complete. The ecstatic mother shared the news that her youngest child, Cameron, had already made a significant impact on her older brothers, whose ages span from two to seventeen. «They’ve typically been lot more behaved around her, trying to be quiet in case they wake her up,» their father, David, who is 44 years old and works as a train driver, said. » It’s very fantastic that they want to help with holding her and feeding her as well.»

Alexis laughs and says, «We’re stopping for sure now.  There will be no more. I said that before, but this time I mean it for sure. I like my family just the way it is.»

«Of course, we do get comments about how many children we have, especially when I was pregnant again.  But what other people think doesn’t bother me, because we’re used to it. Some people think we must get state support, but we don’t. David has a good job, so we don’t even get the full child benefit because of that.»

The mother said, «All of my sons are special to me. I wouldn’t have cared if I had another boy on the way. A lot of people ask us if we had so many kids because we were hoping for a girl.  The honest answer is ‘no.’ Cameron wasn’t in my plans, but I was happy anyway. Luckily, there hasn’t been any drama throughout either of my pregnancies.

«I never wanted a big family, but now that I have one, I love it. I used to joke that I wouldn’t know what to do with a girl, but that’s no longer true. We’re having a lot of fun getting our first pink things.»
