An Indiana woman’s pregnancy complications necessitated an unexpected cesarean section.

That was just the start of a long and difficult journey for her. Her husband prayed for her every day while she was in a coma for a long time.

Autumn and Zack Carver were expecting their third child together. When they were young adults, the two fell in love.

‘I don’t know life without her,’ Zack said, because he couldn’t imagine himself in a world without Autumn.

When he learned that his wife was unable to hold their newborn son, he made a special request to the doctors.

He roused Autumn so she could meet and embrace baby Huxley. He begged the doctors because he thought it was the first and last time she did it.

This was fantastic news. We hugged each other tightly and thanked the doctor and the Almighty.

Onlookers took notice as Autumn began to show signs of recovery. Despite her slow recovery, Zack was confident she would be fine.

Autumn was given the all-clear to return home in December 2021, after spending three months in the hospital.

She was a different woman after that experience. Zack updated his loved ones on the latest developments. He made the following specific declaration:

A truly joyful, heartfelt, and all-around wonderful day. I had to take several steps back and take it all in.

We planned a surprise for our daughters. I believe they were taken aback. They were completely immobile, unable to communicate with one another.

Many people stopped by the house to show their support for the brave mother and wife. The couple, visibly moved by the outpouring of love, thanked everyone in attendance.
