A number of factors, both environmental (such as temperature) and human-related, can contribute to the deterioration of printed photographs over time. This is a nightmare for those of us who have boxes full of old family photos, and it’s even worse for those who have few and distinct treasures from their past. Fortunately, there is a large online community of people who devote some of their time to preventing priceless memories from being lost forever.
We received many photos with deep meaning for people who needed a little extra love (and a lot of skill) to return to their full glory. The results are nothing short of extraordinary in every way.
