Three celebrities appeared on ‘The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,’ including Don Rickles, Dom Deluise, and Glen Campbell. Johnny’s late-night show got an exciting and funny episode thanks to these three stars.

Don Rickles walks out his usual high-energy self. He is seated beside Glen Campbell. Don and Johnny exchange words before Don turns to Glen and exclaims, ‘He is quite the country boy!’

Glen is all sweet on stage, but backstage he’s kicking his heels and whistling at people, according to Don. They discuss how they both have wonderful marriages. ‘Well, if you’re as successful at marriage as you are at television shows, you’ve got a lot coming up, don’t you?’ Johnny says. ‘Call it jamming it to the big guy,’ Don laughs.

Glen believes Don has been miscast and that he could be much funnier in shows. The audience enjoys it until Don says, ‘Shut up!’ Don says, ‘I’m sitting here like I’m in a glass booth, and you’re two Israelis voting on me.’ Johnny agrees. Please do not vote for me! ‘I’m doing fine.’

They all laugh, and Don asks Glen where he grew up, to which he replies, ‘Delight, Arkansas.’ Glen says no one knows, and Don looks perplexed. ‘Oh, I know it!’ says Don. My uncle used to pick up manure down there!

Dom DeLuise then appears and immediately begins cracking jokes. Johnny asks Dom if he could tell him a little about his upcoming TV show, and Dom says he wouldn’t take the risk because he already took one with Don Rickles.

‘You’ll always take a chance when you come out with him,’ Glen adds. That I will tell you.’ ‘What’s wrong with you tonight?’ Rickles asks. I’ve never seen you like this before. ‘Drink your milk and retire.’ The show, according to Dom Deluise, is about bathrooms and how people use them. With this cast of characters, no one can give a straight answer, but no one can stop laughing either!
