After his mother secretly placed him into the competition, a Britain’s Got Talent audience member performed an impromptu audition that had the audience in tears.
Nick Edwards is mistaken for attending Britain’s Got Talent for a date with his wife without the kids after his sister-in-law handed them free tickets.

Nick, a property manager, was surprised to see Callie, 4, and Savannah, 3, sitting with their grandmother Tracey.
His mother had secretly registered him for the competition since she was convinced he would never enter himself.
“Are you kidding, right?” When Nick’s family entered the stage, he screamed, “That’s my mother, you’re kidding.”
Nick took about 45 minutes to warm up before taking the stage in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams.

The producers informed Nick, “They told me to sing this song they saw on my Instagram, and they gave me my guitar, which my family had dragged down that day.”
The father, 35, told the judges he had stopped singing in public because he had “lost a lot of confidence” in himself over the years.
“Hopefully I’ll be able to keep the nerves and weeping at bay while I do this,” a nervous Nick stated.

Then Nick sang to his girls Ernie Halter’s “Daddy’s Little Girl.” The judges were “in bits” because he delivered the song so brilliantly.
Declan Donnelly, who has a three-year-old daughter, was moved with emotion during the performance. Declan grimaced and brushed away his tears before replying sarcastically, “I’m fine!”
This is going to be a significant time for you, I thought as I was playing and my fingers were a little rubbery. I don’t want to mess anything up.

Even though it was a fantastic moment, many viewers questioned whether Nick’s entrance on stage was legitimate because he was wearing a microphone.
