The sister wrote a touching story about her amazing sibling:You’ll have a fresh perspective after reading it…

Laura McIntyre, an American, and her sister Kathy share a similar appearance and were born on the same day, May 11, 1990. The only thing noteworthy about this is that the females are identical twins.

Laura describes her sister and her as having a “unique relationship.” We collaborate on almost everything and talk all day. Sometimes our husbands don’t understand why we need them. Oh, and we’re barely a mile apart.

Although they spend most of their spare time together, the twins’ lives are very different when they are at work. Katie chose a difficult profession for herself: she works as a nurse in a hospital’s maternity department.

She did not become a nurse because of a childhood dream, like our parents did. She chose to try one day. She also began taking nursing school after realizing that this was what she was supposed to do: aid in childbirth.

Laura considers her sister to be a heroine.

Katie has routinely handled the most difficult situations. Although she has occasional breakdowns, she normally carries herself incredibly well, which contributes significantly to her success as a nurse.

However, the difficult times and breakdowns that Laura describes are an unavoidable part of the job of a medical worker. And this is just what the child chose to underline by sharing a one-of-a-kind photograph of her twin with the world.

Laura published a post on Thursday, October 10th that begins as follows:

Let us take a moment to thank the nurse, even if she will kill me for taking this photo.

In the newspaper, the youngster emphasized how being a nurse physically and mentally exhausts individuals, using her sister as an example. Katie’s appearance was shown on one of her worst days ever. Katie recently ended her fourth shift in a row.

Not counting the 1.5 hours she spends in the car each day, that’s more than 53 hours in four days. She frequently lacks the time to eat and drink enough water, let alone dress like a dove.
She is so good at what she does that she regularly forgets to take care of herself in between treating others.

This photograph was taken when she arrived to my place on a July night after a particularly hard day. She had given birth that day, but the infant had already died. Have you ever been curious about what the maternity ward nurse sees? They are overjoyed when the birth goes smoothly and both mother and kid are in good health.

They do, however, see the mother’s horror and anxiety when a cesarean section is required. When mothers receive help from their loved ones, they experience tranquility; however, not all mothers are like this. They see teen pregnancies and the withdrawal symptoms that children of drug and alcohol addicts go through upon childbirth.

They notice personnel from the child welfare service approaching them. They also saw people leaving the funeral. Did you know that the nurses coordinate with the funeral home to schedule the arrival of funeral home personnel to pick up the child? That is what I was unaware of.

Laura concluded her article by saying:

Cathy, you are SPECIAL, as are the other nurses. You do more than you realize to assist patients and their families. I appreciate everything you do.

The image and words received more than 150,000 likes in just a few days. People also add that nurses truly deserve such praise.
