“Kids say the darnedest things,” an old adage goes. Hilary Duff recently demonstrated that the proverb isn’t wholly false. On Instagram, the How I Met Your Father actress revealed a surprising (but humorous) text message she received from one of her 3-year-old daughter Banks’ soccer camp instructors.

Hilary told her fans the humorous story on Monday.
“Whoaaa! “Be cautious of your children.”She captioned a screenshot of Banks’ soccer coach’s letter. “My mom made bad chicken, and now she’s got diarrhea… that’s what happens when you make bad chicken,” Banks said at the camp, according to the text.

Hilary, on the other hand, seems unmoved by the entire awkward incident.

Hilary responded by gently making fun of her daughter rather than being offended or ashamed.
She adopted a different approach after realizing that her child had revealed to outsiders what they were doing in the restroom than most people would have. The words “the rat” were overlaid over a joyful picture of her daughter on the following slide, which she posted.

Hilary has most likely been embarrassed by one of her children.
The former Lizzie McGuire actress is a happy mother of three children. In addition to Banks, she and her husband Matthew Koma have a 1-year-old daughter named Mae. She and her ex-husband, Mike Comrie, have a 10-year-old son named Luca.

It’s incredibly difficult for us to think that Luca never pulled off anything similar when he was a child. Kids actually do say the darndest things, especially about their parents, so it’s not because Luca has a history of embarrassing his mother that this is a concern.

Maybe Hilary may reconsider having more children after all.
In February, she told Romper that she might have more small children in the future. She admitted that she and her husband were exhausted from having children and added, “I know it’s psychotic.”But having Matt as a child is wonderful. “Being a good father has been my life’s work.”

While Banks was away at camp, we wonder what else she said about her mother.
They didn’t reveal if Banks revealed any further family secrets while she was with her soccer instructors. Having said that, we have a suspicion that Hilary and Banks had a lengthy conversation about what topics are appropriate for casual conversation and what information should be kept private.
