A 9-year-old girl’s singing has people wondering if she could be the next Whitney Houston, in a heartwarming tale that demonstrates the strength of human spirit.

When Angelica was just 4 years old, she went through a difficult period and spent some time in the hospital. Her parents were informed that they could have to say goodbye by the doctors, who did not think she would survive.

However, an incredible thing transpired. After recovering, Angelica returned home to live with her parents. She has been honing her singing ever since, and a few years ago, she sang a fantastic rendition of “Rise Up” on America’s Got Talent.
