Bunny Madness in Court! Ken Berry vs. Tim Conway in a Looney Trial on The Carol Burnett Show

Things got completely out of control on Season 11, Episode 18 of The Carol Burnett Show when guest star Ken Berry tried to handle a wild courtroom case—but ended up in total chaos thanks to Tim Conway dressed as a bunny!

Ken played a serious lawyer, standing in front of a jury in a gray pinstripe suit. He said the defendant had “harassed and destroyed” his neighbor’s property on purpose. But when the camera cut to the defendant—viewers were in for a surprise.

It was Tim Conway, lying on the witness stand in a full gray bunny costume, red bow tie and all! He chomped on a carrot and opened with, “What is up Doc?” The judge told him to sit down, and Tim actually hopped off the stand.

The plaintiff called him insane and said no grown man should act like a cartoon character. The whole skit was a wild spoof on Looney Tunes, especially Bugs Bunny. At one point, Ken asked Tim to identify black paint, but it took him four tries, and the audience couldn’t stop laughing.

Then things got messier. Tim secretly painted glue where Ken had been standing. When Ken stepped back, he got stuck! Tim pretended to help and poured hot water on Ken’s hands. At first, Ken was thankful—until he realized it was boiling! He ran out of the courtroom yelling, waving his hands in pain.

The sketch ended with Tim looking at the camera and saying, “That’s all folks!” just like Bugs Bunny.

A courtroom? More like a cartoon! You’ve got to see it to believe it—share with your friends!
