Chris Pratt Unrecognizable in Grungy New Look for ‘The Terminal List’ — Fans Left Stunned

Chris Pratt left fans stunned with his dramatic makeover, which he proudly revealed on Instagram as part of his prep for Season 2 of Amazon’s The Terminal List.

“Isn’t the hair and makeup amazing? My team absolutely crushes it,” the actor said in a video posted Friday, displaying fake blood on his hands and a rugged, scruffy appearance.

Pratt’s look was a far cry from his usual clean-cut image. He sported a messy beard, bushy mustache, and a full mane of long brown hair.

“The weirdest part of wearing a fake beard or mustache is eating—you always end up with hair in your mouth,” he joked. “It’s gross because you know it’s someone else’s hair… and you have no idea where it’s been.”

He then zoomed in on his upper lip and playfully questioned, “Is that someone’s pubes?” The Parks and Recreation star, 45, kept the humor going in his caption, writing, “Is it? No… can’t be.”

Fans had a mix of shock and laughs in the comments. One follower wrote, “Dude, looking rough.” Another quipped, “Castaway 2: Wilson’s Revenge,” while a third said he resembled “a homeless man.”

Despite the teasing, Pratt received support from fellow celebs. Jesse Metcalfe hyped him up with, “F— yeah bro! You look awesome!” and Josh Brolin chimed in with laughing emojis.

Pratt plays Navy SEAL James Reece in the series, based on Jack Carr’s bestselling novel, which debuted in 2022.

This isn’t Pratt’s first time undergoing a major transformation. In 2014, he famously dropped 80 pounds and packed on 20 pounds of muscle for his breakthrough Marvel role in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Reflecting on that intense physical change, Pratt once joked that while the public was amazed, his friends stayed unimpressed—keeping him humble. “That’s what keeps you grounded,” he said at the NYC premiere. “They just give you s–t.”
