Staff should not be with minors if their clothes makes them uncomfortable

During an assembly, a 16-year-old student blasts an administrator while criticizing the “sexist” school dress code, drawing attention to the policy’s unequal enforcement.

Anastasia (@anastasiaskits) posted a video on TikTok on Sept. 8 in which she asks a staff member to clarify their severe dress rule.

“Why is this school so adamant about telling girls to cover up when guys should just keep it in their pants?” she asks in the video. “This school is so adamant about girls covering their shoulders or stomachs, although those things are completely natural.”

She continues to observe that girls with a “larger cup size” are dress-coded more frequently than others, even if they are wearing the same garment.

“I’ve heard that more girls with larger cup sizes are being dress coded.” It’s completely sexist and discriminatory, and it’s not acceptable, “Anastasia adds.”

“Our bodies aren’t distracting,” the caption says. “You’re absolutely repulsive.”

As of September 13, the video has received over 4.9 million views, with viewers praising Anastasia for standing up to the arbitrarily enforced dress rule. Many others recounted their own experiences with dress codes.

One reader revealed, “Exactly, I remember being furious when I got dress coded because I noticed another girl wearing a similar top to mine and she didn’t get dress coded.”

Once upon a time, there were two girls wearing tank tops. One was noticeably larger than the other. “The bigger girl was sent home because of her tank top,” said another.

In the second video, she shows the administrator’s response to her comments, in which he says he is “enforcing a rule” from the handbook.

“That’s not how we look at it,” he explains. “The majority of people understand it, but some people want to challenge it.” So there you have it. And a lot of the staff people are uneasy. ”

Another student then confronts him, asking him to clarify his statement that the “staff” were “uncomfortable with what girls wore.” A different member of staff then cuts her off and tells the pupils to “refocus,” thereby avoiding her inquiry.

Several readers slammed the administrator for alleging that the staff was “uncomfortable” with children’s school attire, branding them “creepy” for “sexualizing minors.”

“Was the staff ‘uncomfortable’ with minors?” One commenter said, “Get new workers. They should not be around kids or teens, ”

“As a teacher, if student’s dress makes staff uncomfortable, that staff should not be near children,” added another.

It’s because adults are sexualizing young women at a time when they should be focusing on their studies. I’m really proud of you for speaking up! ” A third was added
