Colleen works as a waitress at Red Robin in St. Louis, Missouri, and has a big heart, so her family and friends threw her a party to show their love.
Colleen was duped into thinking she was organizing a community event for the restaurant, but the party was actually for her. Everyone was looking forward to doing something nice for her.
Colleen’s friends and family describe her as the type to give the shirt off her back if someone else needs it. She has four children and still finds time to volunteer.
Greg and Fran were a couple who frequented Red Robin. Colleen visited Fran in the hospital on a regular basis because she had cancer. When Fran died, Colleen set aside a day to celebrate her memory.
Colleen also enjoys eating dinner with her complete family on Monday nights. So they wanted to set it up in the restaurant, but she had to leave for it to happen. They asked her to go run some errands.
They not only flew Colleen’s daughter from California, but they also invited Griffin and the Gargoyles, Colleen’s favorite band, to perform at the event.
The finishing touch was having some officers pose as cops questioning Colleen about counterfeit money. Colleen was overjoyed when she walked into the party and saw her daughter and the band.
