Ellideus Island, located a few miles off the coast of Iceland, is a small island. Some time ago, images with a small dot, identical to the building, appeared on the Internet. People were quickly interested and began to explore this lonely island. It was discovered that the island was inhabited by five families around 300 years ago.

The last permanent occupants left the island circa 1930, and the island had only one house remained. Families made a living by hunting for puffins, fishing, and grazing cattle. Many assumptions were made regarding who currently owned this house. Many people believe the island was gifted to the musician Björk. Or that a mysterious billionaire purchased the island and now resides there.
None of these assertions are correct. In fact, the home is still used as a refuge for individuals who hunt on the island. Although no one lives there, it acts as a safe refuge for visitors to this magnificent and remote island. This appears to be one of the most lonely places on the planet. This place appears to have the potential to become an utopia for a few weeks.
The house on this island, dubbed “Hunting Lodge,” was built in 1953 by the Ellideus hunting group.
The building has no electricity or running water.

Even without electricity and running water, The Hunting Lodge has a sauna in the room so you can relax after hunting.
There is, however, water in the house. This water is suitable for saunas, cooking, and drinking. This water is collected by the rainwater collection system.
Another oddity about the Lodge is that it is surrounded by a fence.

And although Björk doesn’t own this house, she has a house on another island.

This lodge is only used for hunting as part of the Allied Hunters Association.

For many people, this place is a refuge during the hunt. For me, this place looks like the perfect place to just walk away from everything that’s going on in the world. I’d like to see it someday.
