A man who has never encountered a lady or a child in his life may feel that the gift of sight is practically beyond his reach. However, when Jean was asked to do just that, she was surprised.

Stargardt syndrome, which Gene has, causes him to lose almost all of his sight at a young age. The middle of his field of vision is fairly dim. He only occasionally gets to glimpse certain images.

He had never seen his wife Joe’s face before and had no idea what she looked like when they first met. He merely assembled the tiny images that he could draw in some fashion, sort of like a puzzle. The way his son looked also baffled him.

After witnessing a woman in the same situation with her spouse on the «Rachel Ray» show, Joe was motivated to get in touch with the program. She wanted that her husband could see her and her son.

He was invited to that show. For the first time in her life, Ginny was able to see the faces of her loved ones because of a rare pair of electronic glasses she was wearing.

The entire family’s sincere passion is beautiful and incomprehensible. Simply put, he was stunned by his wife’s attractiveness. When she learned that Jean could finally see them, she was unable to contain her ecstatic cries.

Gene has just gotten an extraordinary gift that he will cherish and remember for the rest of his life. He did not let his disability define him, and the photographs of his family will live on in his memories forever.
