Kinnady Devine, Rachel, and Levi Devine’s happy 6-year-old was suddenly struggling for her life, living every parent’s worst fear.
Kinnady’s popular web video is difficult to see, but it has a huge following. While in the hospital suffering from a severe ailment, the poor little girl goes to Heaven, but she returns admiring Jesus and later recovers perfectly.
Kinnady had bacterial meningitis, a disorder that causes inflammation of the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord. This is a deadly disease that can kill you in only a few days. It necessitates rapid antibiotic treatment; otherwise, grave consequences including as brain damage or death may occur.
Rachel and Levi were terrified as they sat at the hospice with their seriously ill daughter. Meanwhile, a Facebook appeal was made to friends and family, imploring everyone to pray and help in any way they could.
Doctors attempted to collect cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples in order to definitively diagnose bacterial meningitis and pinpoint which bacterium strain was to blame. They would next give her medications to help her fight the infection.
Kinnady was in the hospital bed, surrounded by her loving mother, father, and grandmother. Rachel couldn’t stop recording Kinnady after the agonizing and terrifying encounter. Kinnady can’t seem to get enough of her family and her caregivers’ affection.
Kinnady’s tiredness from the intensive treatment sometimes overcomes her and she falls asleep. This happens as she clasps her hands and begins to pray. And the girl is immediately brought to Heaven.
Kinnady appears to be out for only a fraction of a second, then she returns and screams, «I’m here?»
The girl’s amazement and pleasure at waking up in the same hospital bed as her loved ones is genuine. It’s almost as though she’s just returned from a long trip. Kinnady talks about how she’ll recover and how she prayed about returning home while thanking her family and telling them how much she loves them.
Kinnady’s mother later stated that when Kinnady fell asleep, she must have thought she had died and gone to Heaven. Little Kinnady would wake up and start praying again. Kinnady is waking up, claiming she went to Heaven and prayed, as Rachel later explained to the doctor.
«I love God and Jesus… and I live with Him!» «I love God and I love Jesus… and I live with Him!» Kinnady cries. Later, the adorable child takes her mother’s hand in her own and requests that her family pray with her. «I’m better!» she says joyfully shortly after.
What’s more remarkable is that Kinnady was correct. Only a few days after a family friend, Sarah Ford, posted a plea for aid on Facebook, she updated her status to announce Kinnady had been miraculously cured.
Sarah claimed that she was only able to walk out of that hospital as if nothing had occurred, fully fine and with nothing wrong with her because of God’s grace and prayer miracles. If someone doesn’t believe in miracles, prayer, or even God, Sarah suggests they listen to Kinnady’s story.
Kinnady’s faith and divine healing inspired not just her family but also random strangers.
