This is not the case for one elderly couple! This Texas-based couple demonstrated to an amazed audience that not only is getting older pleasant, but it’s also something we don’t have to fear!

While on vacation in Canada, these husband and wife phenom decided to visit a restaurant. Hearing Keith Mullins’ soothing sound, who posted the video on YouTube, they were naturally pulled into the business where people were enjoying a lunch while listening to live music. Things didn’t get interesting until Mullins started performing an acoustic version of Bruno Mars’ «Uptown Funk»!

While Bruno Mars excels at capturing the attention of younger audiences, his music is rarely associated with the elder generations. This couple decided to defy all expectations and jumped out of their chairs. The couple can be seen dancing around the room, smiling from ear to ear. The fascinated crowd gasped in surprise and awe as they witnessed this loving pair not only accept current music, but also get down and dance with the best of them!

The popularity of this video makes one thing abundantly clear: age does not define who we are or the actions we take on a daily basis. Many of us feel as though getting old is a process that no one enjoys.
