Mothers of infants know all too well that finding time to eat can be nearly impossible. Babies demand so much attention, and more often than not, we’re too busy taking care of them—or too exhausted ourselves—to sneak in a meal.

Raina Kessel can definitely relate. In a viral video, she tries to eat lunch while holding her adorable baby daughter, Riva Rose, and the result is absolutely hilarious.

In the clip, Raina holds Riva in one arm while attempting to take a bite of her meal with her free hand. The moment Riva notices the food heading toward her mom’s mouth, her eyes immediately light up! She starts reaching for the sandwich, clearly eager to get a bite herself.

Determined, Riva leans in, her eyes fixed on the food. Each time Raina brings the sandwich closer to her lips, Riva lunges forward with her mouth wide open, making the characteristic side-to-side rooting motion that babies use when they’re hungry.

She’s truly giving it her all! While Riva likely doesn’t have any teeth yet, so she can’t really chew the sandwich, that doesn’t stop her from trying her hardest. She’s relentless!

With a bit of drool on her chin, Riva stares lovingly at her mom’s lunch. The internet’s taken to saying, “find someone who looks at you the way this baby looks at this sandwich.”

Riva’s too cute for words! It’s refreshing to see her not letting something like a lack of teeth stop her from dreaming about solid food. Keep dreaming, little one!
