TikTokker Isiah Garza’s compassionate act toward a perfect stranger has warmed the hearts of millions of people in his viral video.
Garza made an old man’s day by inviting him to Disneyland with him. “I’m sorry to bother you, but I’ve had a very, really difficult day and I just wanted to see if you’d be willing to go to Disneyland with me today,” he asks the man strolling down the street.
“Hey, that’s fantastic,” says the elderly gentleman. “Are you sure you want to take me?”
The next thing you see is a fantastic montage of the couple touring the famed park.
“I accompanied a 100-year-old veteran to Disneyland and we became best friends,” Garza captioned the video, which has now gone viral.
Garza pushes his newfound friend’s wheelchair throughout the park. The old man appears to be having a great time. They ride the teacups that twirl.
He receives Mickey Mouse ears, and they even start dancing.
“How do you feel about being in Disneyland today?” Garza inquires about his new acquaintance.
“Oh my goodness, this is one of the happiest days of my life,” says the man. “I feel as though I’m dreaming or something.” He is overcome with emotion and sobs as he tells Garza. I believed my life had ended. I’ll remember this day for the rest of my life. ”
“You have no idea how much I appreciate this,” he says through tears. “You have absolutely no idea.”
“Guys!!! Should I launch a new series with him?! ” After the video received over 11.6 million views and 2.3 million likes, Garza requested his 7.7 million followers in the comments area.
“Can we make getting senior citizens out to do fun things a trend?” another user wondered.
“This is why it’s so vital to have things to look forward to,” a reddit user commented. Whether it’s a trip, an event, or a shopping day… So much of our mental health may be determined by simply having hope. ”
Someone completely agreed. “Exactly! “Our brains concentrate on ‘the thing’ that will break the monotony of our daily lives, and they expect that a phone call or visit will do just that,” they wrote. “Our population is aging, and I fear this will become an increasing problem.”
“‘He started crying,’ I’m sobbing,” another wrote.
“As someone who works with the elderly, I appreciate this,” one said.
Another person said, “This is honestly one of the best videos I’ve ever seen.” “It was incredible to witness the joy provided to this man.”
Garza’s bio states that he was once “homeless” and now makes it his mission to transform people’s lives.
